Ribbons Oval Dish
Each piece in the Ribbons collection takes its shape instinctively, relinquishing control of geometric precision in favour of loosely hand-formed circles and ovals.
The collection translates a textile softness into porcelain through the application of ribbon to the clay models. Chosen for the associations it carries with beauty, embellishment and the small details that make something feel special, ribbon recalls a bow tied around flowers or a gift, rosette trim, or a ribbon worn in the hair.
Plaster moulds capture the ribbon's fine imprint from the original models, and liquid porcelain slip reproduces its texture with characteristic delicacy.
The collection consists of the Platter, Large Centrepiece Bowl, Mini Bowl and Oval Dish. Each piece is available in five colours: Natural White, Light Blue Grey, Eucalypt Green, Dark Forest Green and Whispery Pink.
